The museum was founded on 19 October 1985 with the objective of rescuing the rich material and documental testimony of the Jewish agricultural colonies of the area and the institutions of the village and thus prevent the disappearance of this invaluable historical heritage. Inside, visitors can catch a glimpse of life for the colonists through different objects, documents and photographs on display in the different areas arranged by theme, among others. Villa Dom�nguez is part of the Historical Tour of the Jewish Colonies of the center of Entre R�os ? together with Basavilbaso, Villa Clara and Villaguay ? and is located 18 km away from Villaguay (the department capital), 7 km from San Gregorio, 10 km from Carmel, 14 km from Ingeniero Sajaroff, 30 km from Villa Clara, 50 km from Basavilbaso and 415 km from the City of Buenos Aires. Opening days and times: Mondays to Fridays 8 am to 12 am and 4 pm to 6 pm. Saturdays and Sundays: arrange beforehand by phone.
