The Holocaust Museum of Buenos Aires is an experiential space that integrating historical education on Shoá during World War II and its repercussions in Argentina, with the aim of educating new generations and preserving memory.
Through objects, documents and testimonies of the survivors, there is a tour that shows the process of extermination of six million Jews at the hands of Nazi Germany.
Guided tours, courses and educational activities are offered, in order to spread the history of the Shoá and its consequences for Humanity, raise awareness about the dangers of hateful ideologies, stimulate solidarity behaviors in the face of the suffering of another and encourage ethical and humanitarian behavior to prevent future crimes against humanity.
Its heritage has testimonies of hundreds of survivors who managed to rebuild their lives in Argentina after the tragedy.
The Museum has been declared a Site of Cultural Interest by the National Congress and by the Legislature of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.
THE MUSEUM HAS RECENTLY RENEWED ITS PERMANENT EXHIBITION IN FEBRUARY 2020.
The museum has an audioguide system in several languages that can be heard when the museum's APP is downloaded. (We recommend wearing personal headphones with your cell phones). Inside the Museum there is free wifi.
The visit last approx 1.30 hour.
