The Historic Synagogue Justo Sierra 71 has its official name as "Nidje Israel", the institution in which he was born.
Since 1922, this institution housed Ashkenazi Jews originating in Russia, Poland, Germany, Lithuania, Hungary and other European countries who spoke Yiddish to his arrival in Mexico.
After a restoration that ended in 2009, the Synagogue opens its doors to share with the public its beauty, history and other manifestations of Jewish culture in Mexico.
The aim of all their activities is to spread different space and Jewish culture, without any profit-making.
The synagogue is open from Sunday to Friday from 10am to 17am.
