Address: Localizada en la bajada santos Ossa
Located in the very entrance to the city, this place was inaugurated in the year 2000 as part of the national campaign to get the city port to be declared cultural heritage of the city. It shows a stone that says “Jerusalem” surrounded by hills, as well as the inscription of the versicle in Psalms 125:2 in Hebrew, Spanish and English, and another similar stone placed in 2003 by Chilean Masonry to honor Manuel de Lima, the Jewish man who founded the first Spanish-speaking masonic lodge in 1853. Said lodge is the predecessor of the Grand Lodge of Chile. Jerusalem Square in Valparaíso is also next to a surprising relic of Spanish engineering, that by chance turned out to be linked to a Jewish man and Dutch national.
